I will post pics this week. The springer's on and it's
seriously bad-ass!! I'm really happy especially, since
I built it myself. The bike looks so different!! It's
like a low, loooong , hardtail chopper. The wheelbase is
70 inches, so picture the center of your front tire, 3 inches
forward of the front edge of the tire as stock and that's
where mine rolls. I have plenty of room to kick back now.
I don't think anyone would call my bike little anymore!!
Any way, again, I'm real happy with the way it turned out
and I'll post pics real soon cuz, I'm sure some of you
would like to see a Savage with a 50 degree 7.5 inch overstock
springer front end on it. Naturally, it's no longer freeway worthy,
but I built it to cruise the city anyway. It has plenty
of low end power, and I never go over 70 mph anyway. Now
I don't take it over 60 mph and rarely over 50 mph.
